  • Salt and pepper to taste

1. Begin by preparing the pork belly. Remove any excess fat and slice it into thin strips. It is crucial to have thin slices to ensure proper cooking and crispy texture.


2. Heat a large frying pan or skillet over medium heat and add the pork belly slices. Cook them until they become crispy and golden brown on both sides. This usually takes around 8-10 minutes. Make sure to flip them occasionally to ensure even cooking.



3. While the pork is cooking, peel and core the apples. Cut them into thin slices or small cubes, depending on your preference.


4. In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the apple slices, sugar, and lemon juice. Sauté the apples until they soften slightly and caramelize, usually for about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent them from sticking to the pan.
