BBQ ribs are a popular dish made by slow cooking pork or beef ribs over a grill or smoker, typically coated in a flavorful barbecue sauce. The slow cooking process allows the meat to become tender and juicy, while the smoky flavor from the grill adds depth to the dish. BBQ ribs are a favorite at cookouts and restaurants, known for their rich and savory taste.

Ingredients:
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup of water
Instructions:
1. Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs. This will help the ribs become more tender during the cooking process.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub for the ribs.
3. Rub the dry rub all over the ribs, making sure to coat them evenly on both sides.
4. Place the ribs in a large baking dish or roasting pan, and pour the apple cider vinegar and water into the bottom of the dish.
5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
6. Preheat your grill to 250°F, using indirect heat. If using a gas grill, only turn on one side of the burners. If using a charcoal grill, push the charcoal to one side of the grill.
7. Once the grill is heated, place the ribs on the side without direct heat. Close the lid and let the ribs cook for 3 hours, turning and basting with BBQ sauce every hour.
8. After 3 hours, check the ribs for doneness. They should be tender and starting to pull away from the bone.
9. If the ribs are not done yet, continue cooking for another 30 minutes to an hour, basting with more BBQ sauce as needed.
10. Once the ribs are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Enjoy your delicious BBQ ribs, slow-cooked in sauce!
