  • - 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • - 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • - 1/4 cup Matcha powder

  • - 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • - 1/4 tsp salt

  • - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • - 1 large egg

  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • - 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

  • - Optional: powdered sugar for dusting



Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.


2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, Matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.



3. In a separate large bowl, cream the softened butter with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.


4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Fold in the white chocolate chips.



5. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, portion out the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.


6. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.



7. Once the cookies are completely cool, dust them with powdered sugar if desired for an extra touch of sweetness.
