  7. - 1/2 cup of bean sprouts

  8. - 2 tablespoons of fish sauce

  10. - 1 teaspoon of salt

  11. - 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

  12. - 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder

  13. - 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro

  14. - 1/4 cup of chopped scallions

  15. - 2 red chilies, sliced (optional)



Instructions:

1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the tamarind juice and stir well to combine. Let it simmer for a few minutes to infuse the flavors.


2. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and add them to the pot. Cook the fish for about 5 minutes, until it is cooked through.


3. Add the sliced tomato, pineapple chunks, okra, and bean sprouts to the pot. Let the soup simmer for another 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.



4. Season the soup with fish sauce, sugar, salt, black pepper, and turmeric powder. Adjust the seasoning to taste.


5. Stir in the chopped cilantro and scallions, reserving some for garnish. If you like your soup spicy, add the sliced red chilies at this point.
